Discussion on filtering measures to smog for air conditioning and ventilation systems in public buildings

Questions the feasibility of current designing and selection method of air filter devices for ventilation systems in dealing with the haze weather. Discusses the multiple reasons of the infeasibility. Depending on the domestic situation, in reference to the Eurovent 4/23-2018 Selection of EN ISO 16890 rated air filter classes for general ventilation applications, proposes a concise method for designers and project managers, and discusses the practicability and feasibility of the method.
